A name update appeal feature is available in the app profile for Pioneers who missed the 2-week name update window and still have typos in their names. To ensure the humanness and integrity of the network, Pioneers generally only had a 2-week window to update their names. Now, in case of typos, you can submit an appeal to potentially make corrections. Note that appeals will take time to process

2주간의 이름 변경 기회를 하지 않고, 아직 이름에 오타가 있는 파이오니어를 위해 앱 프로필에서 이름 업데이트 소명 기능을 사용할 수 있습니다. 네트워크의 인간성과 무결성을 보장하기 위해, 파이어니어는 일반적으로 이름을 업데이트할 수 있는 2주간의 기간을 가졌었습니다. 지금부터는 오타가 났을 경우에 대비하여 항소를 제출하여 이름을 수정할 수 있습니다. 항소를 처리하는 데 시간이 좀 걸립니다.

 

 

 

정말 많은 분들이 이번 기회를 기다리셨을텐데요.

 

아마 많은 파이오니어분들이 원했던 만큼 또 한번 기회를 제공하는 것 같습니다.

 

다만 현재 주어지는 소명 기회는 사소한 오류에 한정되어 있다고 볼 수 있습니다.

Note: The Name Update is ONLY relevant for Pioneers who have mistakes in their names associated with their Pi accounts and have missed their 2-week name update window that is available for every Pioneer generally after registration. For Pioneers with correct names in their Pi account, you do NOT need to use this feature and can ignore it.

참고: 이름 업데이트는 파이계정과 관련하여 이름에 오류가 있으며, 등록 후 일반적으로 모든 파이오니어가 사용할 수 있는 2주 이름 업데이트 창을 놓친 파이오니어에게만 해당됩니다. 파이 계정에 올바른 이름을 가진 파이오니어의 경우 이 기능을 사용할 필요가 없으며 무시하세용
 

At the same time, we recognize that genuine Pioneers may have either made typos when first inputting their Pi account name or missed the 2-week name update window. Therefore, we are allowing these Pioneers to appeal for another opportunity to update their name and explain the wanted change. However, name update appeals will only accept changes that would generally still reflect the same human being, e.g. minor changes to spelling, switching first name and last names, adding a middle name, adding a prefix/suffix or aligning it with the name displayed on your identity document. A complete name change that has no resemblance to the current name and suggests two completely different people will be rejected.

 

우리는 진짜 파이오니어(가계정 말고 진짜로 채굴하는 파이오니어)가 파이 계정 이름을 처음 입력할 때 오타를 쳤거나 2주간의 이름 변경 창을 놓쳤을 수 있다는 것을 인지하고 있습니다. 따라서, 우리는 이 파이오니어들이 그들의 이름을 변경하고 원하는 이름으로의 변경을 설명할 수 있는 또 다른 소명 기회를 허락하고 있습니다. 그러나 이름 변경은 [ 철자 변경, '이름' 및 '성'의 사소한 실수, 중간 이름(외국인들만 있는 미들네임) 추가, 접두사/접미사 추가 또는 신분증에 표시된 이름의 정렬 ]과 같이 일반적으로 동일한 사람으로의 변경만 허용합니다. 현재의 이름과 전혀 유사하지 않고 완전히 다른 이름으로 변경하려 시도하는 것은 거부될 것입니다.

 

 

Please note that name appeals will take time to process due to the case-by-case complexity, and they will be processed as a later part of our overall KYC process. So if you submit an appeal, please be patient.

 

이름 이의 신청은 건별로 좀 복잡하여 처리하는데 시간이 꽤 걸리며, 추후 KYC 전체 과정의 마지막 쯤에 처리될 예정이니 참고하시기 바랍니다. 그러니 항소를 제출한다면 인내심을 갖고 기다려주세요.

 

 

Here’s how to submit an appeal:

이의신청서를 제출하는법은 다음과 같습니다.
 

 

1. From the Pi home screen, tap on the ≡ icon in the upper left corner to open up the Pi sidebar menu.

1. Pi 홈 화면에서 왼쪽 위에 있는 ≡ 아이콘을 눌러 Pi 사이드바 메뉴를 엽니다.

 

 

2. Tap on “Profile.”

3. Below “Settings,” click the orange “See How” button next to “ask to change your name.”

4. Review your current inputted name and then tap “Appeal Name Change” in the bottom right corner.

5. From here, follow the in-app instructions.

Note that if your name information is already correct, this information does not apply to you. Please do not submit an appeal.
